Perhaps you have never been to Lake of the Ozarks. The Ozarks hills and valleys can present its
own driving challenges. To ensure your safe arrival and Dad's mental mindset, please take some

| Consider these Direction from Kansas City |
Mapquest provides different directions from Kansas City
than most visitors use. The directions below are
fair to good roads. You do go threw some small towns but you will be safe while pulling a boat.
- Take Hwy 50 E 65 miles to Sedalia
- Stay on Hwy 50 E out of Sedalia 24 miles to Tipton
- Catch Hwy 5 S out of Tipton (Take right at stop light) 15 miles to Hwy 52
- Hwy 5 S meets Hwy 52 at a Y in the road. Take left onto Hwy 52 for 15 miles to Eldon
- Catch Hwy 54 W in Eldon (Take right at stop light), follow signs to Hwy 54 (3 miles)
- Get on Hwy 54 W out of Eldon 15 miles to Osage Beach
- Use Osage Beach Map to navigate through city

| Consider these Direction from East St. Louis |
Mapquest provides directions from St. Louis
that most visitors would consider very dangerous. Hwy 42 has lots of twists, turns, hills and valleys. It is a true "ozark experience." The road is
very dark at night, wildlife is a problem, and if you are pulling a boat..."good luck!" For that reason, if time isn't as important,
we suggust the following directions when coming to the lake from East St. Louis.
- Take I-44 S 160 miles to Lebanon (Take right at 44 Bus. exit to Lake of the Ozarks)
- Stay on Bus 44 3 miles through city of Lebanon. After 8-10 lights is turn off to Hwy 5 S
- Take right at light onto Hwy 5 S (Git N Go on right) 25 miles to Camdenton
- At stop light in Camdenton, stay on Hwy 5 S 10 miles to Sunrise Beach
- At stop light in Camdenton, turn right onto Hwy 54 E 12 miles to Osage Beach.
- This route probably not the route for you if you are trying to get to Lake Ozark. Take the West St. Louis route.

| Coming to the Lake from West St. Louis |
Again, Mapquest provides directions from St. Louis
that most visitors would consider very dangerous. For that reason we suggust the following directions
when coming to the lake from West St. Louis. It might possible be quicker anyways.
- Take I-70 W 105 miles to Kingdom City
- Take left onto Hwy 54 W and go 32 miles to Jefferson City
- Stay on Hwy 54 W through Jefferson City (Follow signs to Lake of the Ozarks
- Stay on Hwy 54 W 45 miles to Osage Beach
- At first stop light (Denny's on right), take right onto Bus. 54 to Lake Ozark or Community Bridge(Rd. MM).
- Go through light and stay on Hwy 54 W to go through Osage Beach.
- Stay on Hwy 54 W 11 miles to Camdenton
- In Camdenton, take right at stop light onto Hwy 5 S to Sunrise Beach
